Why do I say Scorpios are complicated? Well, Scorpios are like chameleons – they can mould themselves into the appropriate personality for different environments. They often live life with different masks, yet once in a while they will reveal their cold and solitary side. This is something no Scorpio can avoid; what’s instinctive can never completely disappear. Scorpios understand human nature (the good and the bad) better than anyone. Though they are innately kind and sincere, their cynicism destined them to be loners because they simply don’t want to be untruthful to themselves.

Scorpios are extremely emotional creatures. In romance, their passion runs like wild fire yet it is hidden very deeply. They seem consistent and amiable most of the time; yet when they blow up they can become extremely intimidating. It’s not easy for a Scorpio to lose their temper. However, there are 3 scenarios that could make them really lose it.

1. Lies. It can be a lie that didn’t cause much damage. Yet what Scorpios see is not the consequence of the lie, but the act of lying. Scorpios are very sensitive to two factors in a relationship – trust and respect. Lies imply a strong lack of trust and respect, so a simple deception can trigger a lot of pain in a Scorpio and will be hard to make up for. If a Scorpio catches you lying, their respect level for you will be dramatically dropped. The closer you are to the Scorpio, the more you’ll hurt them with your lies. They are extremely sincere to their friends, and deceptive behavior will turn them worryingly cold.

2. Humiliation. Scorpios are extremely sensitive and have the ability to acutely make out the underlying meaning of your words. They will not reject a sarcastic harmless joke; however they have the ability to smell unkindness in your speech and see through how you truly feel about them. They will absolutely not tolerate humiliation or condescension. If they must, they will always suppress their moodiness and let it go when they are in an unfavorable situation. Yet that doesn’t apply to condescension. If they feel disgraced, you will see their expression turn stone cold – that would be their attempt to control their anger. At this point you better shut up and stop pressing their buttons, or else who knows what will happen to you…

3. Losing their temper for someone they deeply care for. Since Scorpios are such solitary animals, they are deeply aware that they’re inharmonious with many people. They smile a lot yet not all of it comes from their true heart, but merely to adapt to the occasion. Scorpios feel strongly protective over the ones that truly love and understand them, as in a Scorpio’s world, these people are very rare. They hold these people close to their hearts and will not publicly display their love. However, at crucial moments, guess who will be devotedly defending you and willing to sacrifice for you? You guessed it. If the person that the Scorpio loves is being hurt by another, the Scorpio could turn very vicious. If you want to call Scorpios vindictive, this is probably the time they will be most inclined to take revenge. If you ask me, the strongest emotions Scorpios have displayed is probably for the sake of protecting someone they love.

Scorpios hate to be controlled and told what to do. They will give in to coaxing, but threatening them will never work. They will definitely turn rebellious if you try to suppress them. If you make it a habit to always order them around and criticize them, be sure that they will despise you. They probably won’t show it to your face, but will use their coldness to express their dissatisfaction.

Scorpios always appear distant and seem to have problems with intimacy. Even when they are overwhelmed with loneliness, they still enjoy indulging in their uninhibited true self in the privacy they desire.
